Meet Dr. Cia Parker

Dr. Cia Parker is a consultant for Atlantic OccuPsych INC (AOP) for well over a decade. She is considered an occupational psychological assessment expert and has conducted 1000s of occupational-related evaluations, including preemployment evaluations of public safety candidates (Law Enforcement, Corrections, Emergency Communications, Fire/Rescue, Etc.) for different agencies at the local, state, and federal levels.  Since with Atlantic OccuPsych, Inc Dr. Parker has also developed professional competencies to include psychological Fitness for Duty and Independent Medical Evaluations, Psychoeducational Wellness Contacts and Traumatic Incident Responses.  Additionally, Dr. Parker worked with Baltimore County Police on their Mobile Crisis Team for five years.

Dr. Parker completed her master’s degree in forensic psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York. She subsequently obtained her doctoral degree in clinical psychology with the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Washington DC campus. She is experienced working with the adult population presenting various clinical challenges, including prominent experience with the aging and geriatric community.

Dr. Cia Parker, Psy.D, is a psychologist licensed in Maryland and also holds licensure through the Psychological Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT), which opens up practice capabilities throughout the majority of the United States.
